Vinyasa based practice combines posture sequences and breathing to improve core strength and nourish your body and spirit. Catering for those with yoga experience (with alternative less difficult poses offered for those returning to practice and the less experienced) to more experienced practitioners.
Dynamic Yoga Improves core strength and flexibility with sequences that incorporate exercise elements and deeper postural work. Traditional yogic techniques of mindfulness, integration and sensitivity are maintained as you revitalize the body. All classes include a relaxation. Suitable for anyone interested in working more deeply with their body.
Yoga therapy is a type of therapy that uses yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to improve mental and physical health. The holistic focus of yoga therapy encourages the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
Classical Hatha Yoga links traditional Hatha postures into a sequence of movements that flow naturally from one to the next, exploring variations of sun salutations, standing and seated poses along with body balancing. Connecting the breath with the movement of the body during the “flow” of yoga and deepening into the “stretch” allows energy to flow and provides relaxation for the busy mind.
Viniyoga is a highly individualized practice where yogis learn to adapt poses and goals to their own needs and abilities. Instead of focusing on stretching to get strong and flexible, viniyoga uses the principles of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). PNF simply means warming up and contracting a muscle before stretching it. This decreases your chance of injury.
